Civil Foreman/pipelayer

**Scope** **of the Position**

Civil Edge Construction Corp. is seeking an experienced Civil Foreperson to join our team in Kamloops, BC. This person reports to senior management and is responsible for the supervision, coordination and direction of the crew and machinery daily, on-site. This includes all aspects of civil construction and is not limited to earthworks and pipe laying.

**Requirements and Responsibilities**
- Provide direction to pipe crews, operators and sub-contractors in deep and shallow utilities, building excavation and roads.
- Experienced heavy equipment operator.
- Understands and adheres to schedules, safety programs, completion dates and project requirements.
- Maintains precise records, including crew, equipment and any work outside of contract requirements. This also consists of all material delivery and rentals.
- Ability to train new employees.
- Reads and interprets drawings and specifications to provide clear instructions to crews.
- Safely lead crews in day-to-day job site activities on more than one site.

Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend. Overtime as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum five years in a supervisory role in the civil industry, as an operator, engineering inspector or related industries.
- Clean Driver's Abstract is mandatory.
- Ability to use standard industry equipment such as laser levels, pipe lasers and builders level.

We have proudly provided services to large-scale multi-family residential builds and individual homeowners across BC and Alberta.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- construction: 5 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Kamloops, BC (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Kamloops, BC: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
