**Adventure Associate**

**Pedego E-Bikes Canmore / Canmore Adventures**

**General Accountability**

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Owner and Shop Manager, within limits of established policies and procedures, the Adventure Associate is responsible for driving the promotion and sales and rentals of Pedego Electric Bikes and Canmore Adventures Tours, fostering relationships within the community and delivering exception customer satisfaction.

**Reporting Relationship**:
Reports directly to the Shop Manager and Owner

**Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability**:

- Act as the face of the company, being personable and customer service-oriented.
- Assist customers in finding appropriate e-bikes, parts, gear and accessories.
- Share product knowledge and enthusiasm for biking lifestyle with customers.
- Sells Canmore Adventures tours and activities and shares knowledge about the products and enthusiasm for Canmore.
- Ensure bikes leaving the Pedego Canmore store are roadworthy and safe.
- Become familiar with the Pedego Dealer portal and familiarize yourself with the technical resources available.
- Identify bikes in need of repair and create mechanic tickets with details through our tech portal and service software.
- Maintain Pedego rental e-bike fleet with air, lube, accessories, etc. and ensure bikes are clean.
- Assist mechanic to ensure bikes are serviced on time for customer deadlines and rental fleet requirements.
- Inventory management of related parts and accessories both in the store and online through point of sale software.
- Provide feedback about bicycles to customers as they come into pick-up their serviced bikes.
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits to customs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries and resolving issues.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately.
- Drive sales through effective communication and product knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Support multilingual customers effectively.

**Rental Responsibilities**
- Assist with the rental check-out procedure (assist customers with completing rental waivers, selecting and fitting helmets, and providing e-bike operation and safety orientation to all rental customers before leaving Pedego Canmore location.
- Assist with the rental check-in procedure as needed (inspect each bike upon return for any damages and/or wear and tear that could impact future performance.
- Assist with related services such as retail sales and tours.
- Ability to ask a teammate for assistance should you have questions.

- Flexibility to adapt to the seasonal nature of the job.
- Fluent in English; French not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
