Make an impact with our Accounting team as a Manager supporting our Oakville office. We hire self-motivated people who are ready to win. **What you will do?**
- Under the authority of Vice President of Finance, you be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting required for the new subsidiary/division/acquisition of Sika Canada Inc._
- Reporting of all monthly operational results and quarterly financial results to the corporate head office
- Calculation of monthly inventory provision for obsolete and slow-moving materials
- Preparation of lease accounting entries
- Assist the Factory Controller with factory organization reporting
- Preparation of annual budget; local and group format
- Preparation of monthly internal reports for the Executive team
- Review and analyze financial data and report findings to the Executive team with pre-set timelines
- Alignment of product codes, customers, and general ledger accounts to group format
- Maintain Sika internal control system manual and manual of authority
- Assist the auditors and Director of Tax and Treasury on accounting and tax audits
- Manage a team of three including Accountant, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.

What you will bring:

- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of related experience, with progressive responsibility including exposure to department / people management
- CPA designation an asset
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Highly responsible, approachable, with an engaging, professional demeanor
- Strong business acumen
- A demonstrated ability to effectively oversee multiple processes, tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Reliable person of integrity, who inspires confidence and carefully manages confidential information
- Consistently follows through, with great attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to thrive when working independently, taking initiative whenever possible
- Experience directly managing a team is an asset
- Knowledge of SAP considered an asset
- Experience in construction/manufacturing industry an asset
- Microsoft Office experience intermediate+ level required (i.e. - Word, Excel and Outlook)

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
