**SUMMARY**:
**Schedules appointments, receives incoming calls, maintains official regional documents, executes administrative policies, and provides administrative support to regional staff.**:
**This is an entry level, Seasonal position - typically February to the end of October - but for the right individual it could be year round.**:
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The essential duties and responsibilities are listed below. Other duties may be assigned.

Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by regional staff.

Compose and type routine correspondence.

Files correspondence and other records.

Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate official and places outgoing calls.

Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business, and directs visitors to appropriate person.

Verifies, allocates, and posts customer production slips. Reconciles and balances

accounts.

Prepares and codes accounts payable.

Assembles, prepares purchase card invoices for monthly accounting

Assists wherever needed for Commercial - customer calls, AR, credits etc.

Assists managers and staff with company related paperwork for hiring etc.

Compiles and types statistical reports.

Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter.
- Prepares outgoing mail.
- Verifies, processes, and records accounts payable and receivables.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:
High school diploma or general education degree); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.

**REASONING ABILITY**:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
