Sales Representative for Our Sign Division

As a Sales Representative for our sign division, you will have knowledge of printing products and services. You will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets.
To be successful as a sales representative you will build rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. Your efforts will promote the company’s product line and pricing, while being professional and attentive to the customer needs. Teamwork is vital and communication is essential.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads
- Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
- Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
- Staying informed about competing products and services
- Upselling products and services
- Researching and qualifying new leads
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets
- Purchasing for inventory, including contact and negotiation with vendors
- Work closely with the graphic designer to ensure a proper product
- Assist with day-to-day office operations as required
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in inside sales or a related sales position preferred
- Must have experience in the sign business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with SAGE 100 (or similar software)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong listening and sales skills
- Ability to achieve targets
**Working conditions**
- Work outside normal business hours may be required
- Comfortable lifting to 25 lbs.
- Travels may be necessary
