**Receptionist**

This position will undertake all reception and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. This role will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and employees. In addition, this individual will ensure the first impression we make clearly represents our corporate culture. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

Our Front Desk is purpose built with a Visitor/Guest facing side and an Employee facing side. The Receptionist will manage all activities on both sides of this community hub.

**What does your typical day look like?**
- Greet and welcome guests;
- Receive main entrance letters, packages etc. and ensure they are distributed;
- Manage guest/visitor attendance log;
- Coordinate Access Card Inventory (distribute, collect & ensure secure inventory);
- Coordinate Visitor/Guest/Contractor Badges (providing, retrieving, logging, tracking);
- Assist with coordinating Facilities tasks, requests, projects;
- Assist in the New Hire onboarding process;
- Assist with and monitor office supplies and coordinate supply orders as necessary;
- Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
- Assist Executives as required and requested;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Experience in office management, health & safety protocols, and security protocols;
- Familiarity with office machines (copier/printer, mailing machine, etc.);
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio);
- Excellent communication skills - English (oral and written);
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- Customer service oriented;
- Excellent problem solving skills;
- Strong communication and people skills;
- Ability to adapt to on-going change in a fast paced, customer focused environment;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Ability to handle fluctuating work volumes;
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. max.
