- Manager, Disability Management We’re looking for a
**Team Leader** who will be responsible for the daily management of a team of
**Disability Claim Specialists**. The Team Leader will have the accountability of meeting productivity and quality standards. The Team Leader will also provide ongoing coaching and development for team members.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as the primary resource for your team members in determining direction and procedures for complex claims by providing information, answering questions and requests;
- Communicate with different stakeholders in order to effectively manage relationships;
- Contribute to department strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service and operations information; identify and evaluate trends and opportunities and define objectives and evaluate outcomes;
- Demonstrate strong analysis and resolve quality and client service problems and identify trends while seeking out operational efficiencies;
- Build a stable team through recruiting qualified talent, training employees and providing guidance in career development;
- Contribute to the organization’s effectiveness by offering information and opinions at Team Leader meetings and building and maintaining inter
- and intradepartmental relationships.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Post-secondary education in business, medical or rehabilitation management.
- **Work Experience**: Two years or more of people management combined with two to three years of direct work experience in Life and Disability insurance.

**Other Qualifications**: Insurance designation (LOMA or other) will be considered an asset.

**Language Skills**: Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
