Architectural Sales Representative

**Summary**

The Architectural Sales Representative is responsible for promoting the Agway Metals Inc. brand and products to the Architectural, Engineering and Specification Writers. This position will also work closely with the Agway Sales Representatives to identify and support key contractors that are involved in major specified projects.

**Job Duties**
- Maintain a high level of customer service;
- Promote the Agway Metals Inc. brand and products to the Architectural, Engineering and Specification writers;
- Identify and secure Agway Metals product specifications with Architects, Designers, and Specifiers;
- Support Agway Sales Representatives in the identification and support of key contractors;
- Continually complete a project tracking analysis which indicates the projects that were won or lost;
- Exhibit at regional tradeshows to promote Agway Metals Inc. and its full product line;
- Be technically proficient in all Agway products and services to confidently make recommendations to contractors;
- Present confidently to large groups of people;
- Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research;
- Use a desktop computer with business software to locate orders, look up material availability, and search for customers;
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanour, and attitude at all times;
- Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals;
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Architectural Sales: 5 years (preferred)
