RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
Under the supervision of the Manager, Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM), the clinical research clerk is responsible for supporting the successful conduct of clinical research studies at the Glen site.

General Duties
- Consent and recruit local, national and international research participants,
- Review websites and interview participants by telephone to complete questionnaires in both official Canadian languages,
- Ensure study related documents are fully completed in a timely manner and that all documents are filed appropriately,
- Maintain complete screening and enrollment records in both official languages,
- Perform data entry,
- Communicate with the principal investigator regularly,
- Any other related tasks assigned by the principal investigator.

**Education**: Bachelor's Degree

**Field of Study**: Science

**Work Experience**: One (1) year experience in clinical research is an asset

**Professional Membership**: ? Yes ? No

**Other Skills or Qualifications**:

- Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
- Medical knowledge an asset,
- Must be comfortable working in a pediatric environment and in an emergency setting,
- Advanced computer skills are necessary,
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, REDCap, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, other,
- Experience with data collection an asset,
- Questionnaire development an asset,
- Qualitative data analysis is an asset.

Additional information

**Status**: Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)

**Pay Scale**: $33,287.80 to $40,000, commensurate with education & work experience

**Work Shift**: Monday to Friday. May be required to work outside of regular hours especially when coordination with European sites is needed

**Work Site**: Glen
