Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Carpenter, you will be responsible for various tasks related to construction, painting, drywall, electrical work, blueprint reading, tile laying, restoration, and more. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand tools and following schematics. **Responsibilities**:

- Install drywall, repair damaged areas, and ensure smooth finishes
- Assist with electrical work such as wiring installations and repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
- Lay tiles accurately and efficiently
- Restore various surfaces to their original condition
- Utilize a variety of hand tools to complete tasks
- Install different types of flooring materials
- Follow schematics and instructions to ensure accurate work
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Coach and instruct apprentices
- Measure cut shape assemble to building codes and use measuring tools

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in construction painting, drywall installation, electrical work, tile laying, restoration, and flooring installation
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper usage
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Certificates: Carpenter Trade Certification, Working at heights training

**Salary**: $38.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
