**Job Descrption**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand and power tools, while working alongside robotic systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the project.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
- Build and install structures such as partitions, walls, roofs, decks, and flooring, using various materials including wood, steel, and concrete.
- Collaborate with robotic systems and follow established safety procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Install windows, doors, and fixtures as per project requirements.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and clean work environment both on-site and in controlled indoor settings.

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of experience as a Carpenter Framer or similar role, with comprehensive experience in wood framing, flooring, roof trusses, joists, and I-beams.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Ontario building code.
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools, including tape measures and framing squares.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Keen eye for detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Good understanding of basic math and geometry, with the ability to calculate angles and measurements accurately.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on adhering to safety regulations and working efficiently with automation.

**Preferred but Not Required**:

- Experience in prefabricated or modular construction.
- Experience with helical piles.
- Experience with pouring concrete foundations.
- Experience with operating construction equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other related machinery.

**Additional Information**:

- The position is primarily indoors in a controlled environment, with occasional on-site work required.
- Familiarity with working alongside automated systems and robots is a plus.

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
