**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring sanitary and timely rotation of dishes, cutlery and cooking vessels and utensils before during and after service
- Maintaining clean work areas for cooks/ chefs during service and prep as well as keeping the dish pit free from pile up and keeping the dishwasher section tidy.
- Manage garbage area daily by bringing any empty bins from the front of the restaurant as your first priority to the garbage shack.
- Ensure removal of all recycling, organics (daily) and garbage on garbage day (every Thursday before 7pm) from the entire building
- Follow the kitchen cleaning schedule
- Cleaning, stocking, and supplying designated areas
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities including dry goods stock (cleaning supplies) and communicating with lead chef
- Help maintain stock and supply rooms by communicating when items are low and unpacking pantry items on shelves in an organised manner
- Performing food prep as instructed by cooks and chefs using proper health and safety protocol
- Follow all health and safety regulations (training provided)

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.50 per hour
