**(approximately 6 months in duration)**

**The successful incumbent will receive a responsibility allowance in the amount of 15% and their current position will be backfilled for the duration of the assignment.**

Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer, and participating in meetings of the Senior Management Team, the Interim Lead, Experience, Transformation and Social Accountability will provide oversight and guidance to Holland Bloorview’s commitment to:

- client and family experience;
- client transitions through the lifespan of care and services;
- collaborative practice;
- Caring Safely (Holland Bloorview’s commitment to high reliability in client and staff safety) and quality performance;
- health equity;
- clinical bioethics; and
- inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility and anti-racism (IDEAA).

**Position Overview**
- The interim lead will offer supportive leadership for the strategic goal, **Care that’s socially accountable**. The** **interim lead will partner broadly to advance Holland Bloorview’s IDEAA strategy and related health equity initiatives, supported by the IDEAA team and catalyzing teams and resources across the organization including within the academic teaching and research mission.
- They will provide leadership (Co-Chair) to the IDEAA task force.
- The lead will assume responsibility, strategic oversight and direction-setting for the following departments: Quality, Safety and Performance; Collaborative Practice; Client and Family Integrated Care, Transitions & Community Partnerships; IDEAA; bioethics; and the hospital’s workplace discrimination, racism and harassment reporting procedure.
- They will attend and provide support to the Quality Committee of the Board of Directors under the guidance of and working closely with the President and CEO.
- They will attend meetings of the Senior Management Team and collaborate closely with all its members.
- Participate in and/or lead various hospital-wide committees e.g. Integrated Quality and Safety Steering (co-chair), Steering Committee for Hospital Emergency Management (co-chair), Quarterly On Call Rounds (co-chair), Family Advisory Committee,

**Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

**Education/Experience**
- Master’s level preparation preferred.
- Team leadership and people management experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of and experience in some or all of the areas represented in the experience, transformation and social accountability portfolio.
- Lived experience as a member of a group underrepresented in healthcare (e.g. BIPOC, disability, 2SLGBTQ) an asset.

- Basic familiarity with the translation of strategic priorities into operations
