Fume is an upscale lounge/restaurant/bar/nightclub which is described by patrons as one-of-a-kind, been viral on social media, and is one of the biggest in terms of size in peel region; is looking for a highly capable and established Executive Chef/Head Chef to lead its kitchen operations.

**Scope of Work**
- Provide direction for menu development & presentation
- Conducts briefings with the Restaurant staff for education on menu items including ingredients, preparation methods and unique tastes
- Assists in recruitment and selection, training and development initiatives as well as performance management and employee coaching
- Prepares and cooks meals including for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, freezer/fridges, kitchen equipment, counters and storage areas
- Food procurement and maintain food inventories
- Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs
- At least 7 years culinary experience
- Exude positivity and possess a welcoming and enthusiastic can-do attitude
- Exceptional ability to provide an elevated guest experience
- Excellent leadership & communication skills
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge
- High Energy and Stamina
- Knowledge of Current food trends

As a chef at our restaurant, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills to a varied demographics clientele, while leading a team of kitchen staff. You will be responsible for creating a newer menu with manager and owners, ensuring the highest quality standards, and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Please note that this position will require working evenings including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
