**Hours of work**: 32- 40 hours/week

**Job duties**:

- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Demonstrate professional and positive image to guests and colleagues at all times, including maintaining a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Deliver prompt, excellent service to ensure an exceptional guest experience both in the restaurant and banquet areas.
- Assist in the setup and break down of banquet event setups
- Offer helpful guidance with menu offerings, responding knowledgeably to questions.
- Efficiently complete prep and side work to enable focused guest care and maintain an orderly, clean station during banquet events
- Periodically check in to ensure guest needs are met, then graciously present an accurate check and collect payment at the conclusion of the meal.
- Following all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned
- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- Completion of secondary school
- Must have current Serving It Right certification

**Requirements**:

- Must have prior experience as Server in large restaurant/resort in Canada (2 years minimum)
- Must have operational knowledge of English (CLB 4+)
- Must be able and willing to stand for 8-10 hours each shift
- Must possess the ability adapt to flexible schedule (including weekends, holidays and evenings)
- Must have full mobility in continuous quick-paced work environment, capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds and pushing food carts up to 100 pounds.
- Must have excellent client-oriented service skills
- Must have positive attitude and work well in a team environment
- Beer, wine, and spirits knowledge with the ability to make recommendations to guests is an asset.
