The Localization Content Specialist supports localization of global presales marketing content for Agilent Technologies. This individual is responsible for supervising all phases of assigned localization projects, including analyzing and estimated the project, scheduling translators, managing and tracking the production schedule, managing translation quality and delivery. The Localization Content Specialist interfaces with Agilent staff and coordinates efforts with Agilent’s external vendors, including language service providers, linguists, web development, desktop publishers, and localization engineers.

The Localization Content Specialist will report to the Localization Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure presales localization projects (marketing and web) are executed on time, budget and quality.
- Act as main contact for all presales localization projects for a specific country/region.
- Check for completeness and quality of deliverables at each step of the translation process.
- Manage queries and issue resolution during translations.
- Facilitate reviews by Agilent Subject Matter Experts.
- Verify suitability of localized marketing messaging working with Global and Regional marcom teams.
- Collaborate with internal clients such as Global and Regional marketing, Regional sales, and Subject Matter Experts to facilitate quality and timely delivery of projects.
- Execute and coordinate quality assurance activities for technical and non-technical materials.
- Manage website localization from end to end, including managing organic SEO (content optimization) for selected languages, working with the solution units and field marketing and sales to ensure alignment on the strategy.
- Work closely with Regional teams to identify and vet additional Subject Matter Expert resources (internal and external) as needed
- Coordinate sign off and posting of final localized files.
- Archive translation project and documents in Agilent databases and content management systems.
- Vendor management - Monitor vendor service level agreements and reports for key performance indicators for localization and SEO vendors.
- Support development and training of Subject Matter Experts
- Build and monitor language style guides that cover the best practices for writing and digital content optimization. Train different stakeholders in the process and best practices.
- Manage and contribute to the terminology glossaries for designated language/s.
- Have user experience with new AI technologies (Machine translation, speech to text, synthetic voice over) and be willing to contribute to the program with their linguistic expertise.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or University degree in linguistics or science or equivalent and minimum of four years direct experience.
- 8+ years of translation industry experience.
- Proven skills in managing cross-functional projects and process management/improvement.
- Proven skills in managing style guides and terminology.
- Demonstrated content optimization/organic SEO experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage stakeholder processes and relationships, including managing stakeholders to agreed timeframes.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- French/Spanish/German Native Speaker.
- Proven technical knowledge of AI technologies applied to languages would be a plus.
