**Overview**

The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) is the voice of Canada’s investment funds industry. IFIC brings together approximately 150 organizations, including fund managers, dealers, and back-office service providers, to strengthen the integrity of the investment funds industry, foster public confidence in investment funds, helping Canadian investors to achieve good outcomes. IFIC contributes significantly to the success and sustainability of the entire wealth management industry, a sector that manages approximately $2.2 trillion in assets and provides leading retail investment solutions for Canadians.

**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Member Services, the Member Services Coordinator supports all aspects of IFIC’s member services and event activities.

The role would suit a forward-thinking individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, plan and support the delivery of events and the ability to proactively service our members in collaboration with the IFIC team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading industry participants, regulators and government officials in the investment funds industry on a wide range of strategic value-added activities.

**Member Services**
- Support senior management activities with members and stakeholders.
- Work with the Communications and Public Affairs team to deliver valuable and timely communications and information.
- Help in maintaining accurate member records and tracking member engagement.
- Respond promptly to member inquiries to provide accurate information and assistance.
- Aid in the implementation of strategies to enhance member retention, including conducting surveys, analyzing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.

**Events**
- Assist with the implementation of IFIC events, including executing logístical aspects, coordinating speaker information, developing marketing and event support materials, setting up online registration, sponsor support and supporting delegates through the registration process
- Accurately manage and update records of registrants
- Coordinate event communication and marketing pieces in collaboration with the Communications team
- Build and test event registration forms, event page and event-related mobile apps
- Play a key role in the execution of all onsite and virtual events, including oversight for IFIC’s webinars:

- Includes building workback schedules, registration pages, platform layout, preparing speakers, execution, and reporting
- Assist in post-event evaluation, survey results collation, and reporting on other events as required
- Manage inquiries in the Events Inbox

**Skills/Qualifications**
- University or college degree
- 2+ years of experience; knowledge of investment funds and/or financial services industry considered an asset
- Ability to communicate highly effectively, both in writing and orally
- Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, and execution abilities
- Personable with strong relationship-building capabilities
- Experience in cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with multiple levels within organizations
- Ability to see the big picture, while managing details
- Sound judgment
- Excellent team player
- Knowledge of French is an asset

**Work Environment**
- This role is based in Toronto and has limited travel. The office currently operates in a hybrid environment with 40% in office days.
