**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this position, you will:

- provide technical and operational assistance with the park programs
- assist with preparing and presenting interpretive programs
- help in interpreting natural and cultural history of the park
- lend a hand with the preparation of stories for newsletters and promotional marketing material
- gather and record flora and fauna observations, visitor, tourism, marketing data and park attributes for park records
- provide general maintenance (i.e. housekeeping and minor repairs of marketing equipment and facility)

**How do I qualify?**:
**Mandatory requirements**:

- You must be able to work shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays as per schedule.

**Knowledge**:

- You possess knowledge of resource management principles and techniques.
- You are knowledgeable of interpretive programming preparation and presentation techniques.
- You have working knowledge of forest flora and fauna.

**Communication and interpersonal skills**:

- You possess demonstrated communication skills to conduct presentations, park tours and abilities to facilitate interpretive programs for visitors and clients.
- You have well developed written communication skills to assist in creating stories and marketing boards.
- You have interpersonal and customer service skills to assist and deal with internal and external stakeholders.

**General skills**:

- You are a demonstrated leader and can supervise and assist staff.
- You have the ability to work independently and carry out instructions.
- You possess skills to prioritize tasks to meet competing deadlines and organize park events.
- You have the ability to operate and maintain audio visual equipment.
