Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Process Lead is responsible for maintaining the anodizing process and wastewater treatment system in such a manner that these processes do not place any limitations on the safe and efficient manufacturing of a quality product. This position schedules and oversees a range of activities performed by your team of lab technicians and wastewater treatment operators, production associates, as well as maintenance staff and contractors.

The Process Lead must embody the core values of our organization: be people first, embrace an environment of mutual respect, use data to make informed decisions, relentless in the pursuit of continuous improvement, and settle for nothing short of excellence in operational performance.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education/Experience**
- A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role preferred
- Successful completion of a post-secondary program (degree or diploma) recommended
- Minimum 1 year Anodizing or other metal finishing experience
- Knowledge of chemistry
- Computer literacy required (intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office)

**Technical Skills/Competence**
- Organized to allow for the balancing of multiple tasks simultaneously
- An excellent communicator both written and orally to generate buy-in to ideas and concepts
- Fair and consistent in your approach to dealing with people
- Willingness to learn
- Goal oriented
- Accountable to commitments, both internal and external
- Strong knowledge of production processes and company systems
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to work flexible hours

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The duties and responsibilities of the Process Lead are detailed below, but not limited to the following:

- Maintaining a safe and enjoyable workplace for all process employees via such measures as enforcement of proper PPE policy, maintenance of housekeeping standards, inventory of proper equipment, tools, etc.
- Ensure effluent is compliant with the Camden County sewer and discharge regulations as determined by routine sampling and analysis.
- Ensure that all process baths are operating within their control ranges.
- Conduct daily audits to monitor adherence to anodizing, chemical testing and wastewater treatment procedures and perform appropriate testing if required.
- Collect, record, analyze and communicate relevant and reliable process data.
- Troubleshoot quality defects and assist in problem solving to maintain the highest level of quality.
- Maintain appropriate chemical inventories.
- Maintain inventory of other consumable items (filter press cloths, filters, etc.).
- Working with the Facility and Production Supervisors/Plant Manager, schedule all maintenance activities within your department.
- Training, coaching, developing, collaborating with, engaging and mentoring your team.
- Diligently recognize continuous improvement opportunities.
- Regularly audit all current processes and recommend revisions or the development of new processes to the Plant Manager.
- Maintain appropriate team staffing levels to ensure the safe and efficient execution of daily duties.
- Working with your Manager, conduct objective performance evaluations for your team based on the achievement of predetermined goals.
- Maintain open lines of communication with your team, other departments, other supervisors and your manager(s)
- Verifying and approving payroll hours for your team.
- Responsible for the investigation of Health and Safety related incidents involving your crew and as required, providing support to other facility incident investigations
- Provide coverage for Production Supervisors as required
- Perform other duties as required.
