**Your Mission**

As a Network specialist, you will be responsible for the administration, implementation and support of CAE’s networking systems globally, covering all CAE’s business divisions and over 100 sites worldwide. In this position, you will be part of a global Infrastructure & Operations Team, interacting regularly with peers in other regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC).

**Your Role & Main Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the upkeep of the network infrastructure and network services for the global enterprise (over 100 sites worldwide)
- Improve network solutions and related processes applicable to LAN, WAN, SDWAN, Telephony & Voice solutions
- Improve network solutions and related processes applicable to Cloud resource integrations (Azure, WAF, etc.)
- Coordinate services and monitoring to prioritize and ensure high network availability and performance
- Contribute to the planning and support of network security as well as the administration of enterprise firewalls
- Contribute to business expansion objectives including setting up new sites globally, and integration of business acquisition sites into CAE’s IT ecosystem
- Support periodic operational activities such as enterprise disaster recovery planning and testing as well as ongoing improvement initiatives
- Provide technology direction and assist in the preparation of equipment justification, acquisition and IT strategy

**Your Qualifications**

Softskills:

- Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Collaborates well in a team environment
- Autonomous - comfortable exercising independent judgment in performing job duties
- Ability to interface with IT users (IT administrators and customers) at all levels

Technical skills:

- Excellent Network skills with LAN, WAN and Core networks
- Excellent knowledge of Cisco Firewalls, Routers, Layer 2/3 Switches and VLAN’s as well as Wireless technologies
- Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting of Voice over IP solutions, Quality of Service (QoS), Load Balancers and WAN Optimizers
- Knowledge of the following will be an asset: SDN technologies, Automation & Orchestration
- Experience with physical infrastructure planning is an asset (cabling, fiber vaults, etc.)
- DEC in Computer Technology or equivalent with 5 years of experience in Networking
- Cisco Certifications are an asset
