The role encompasses managing your own activities tomeet the agreed milestones while working within the integrated productassurance team. It will involve supporting the engineering specialists to ensurerobust technical solutions are generated and customer projects are supported.This is an opportunity to identify and drive improvement in how the safety andcertification activities are undertaken from initial concept design through toand integration into the gas turbine and operation at customer sites

**How You’ll Make anImpact**

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating,implementing, and reviewing safety policies related to the gas turbine productlifecycle.
- Responsiblefor ensuring that new designs and in service products deliver and maintainacceptable levels of safety.
- Identifyingpotential product safety risks at each stage of the gas turbine lifecycle, fromdesign to disposal and proposing solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Ensuringthe gas turbine products comply with all relevant local, national, andinternational certification standards and regulations.
- Investigatingany safety incidents related to the gas turbines, identifying their rootcauses, and devising preventive measures.
- Supportingcustomer projects to liaise with certifying bodies and demonstrate complianceto certification requirements.
- Support customersin identifying and resolving potential safety concerns during the integrationof gas turbine product at customer facilities.

**WhatYou Bring**
- Bachelor’sdegree (or above) in engineering, preferably mechanical or aerospaceengineering and eligible for OIQ membership
- Abilityat working in cross functional / geographical / cultural working environments.
- Strongcommunication and presentation skills in both English and French, including theability to effectively summarize complex issues
- Enthusiasmto proactively develop new methods to manage safety and certification
- Abilityto think analytically, understand complex systems, and find practical andeffective solutions to potential safety issues.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
