**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Heavy Equipment Operator will have the ability to competently operate **skid steer, loader, excavator or rubber tier backhoe**. They will report to a Lead Hand/Foreman to assist in the installation of electrical and underground utilities.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work **5 - 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)**, **8 - 10 hours a day**.
- Operate the equipment as required such as **skid steer, loader, rubber tire backhoe and excavator.**:

- **Dig, backfill, and sand trenches** with heavy equipment.
- Perform **preventative maintenance** procedures on equipment.
- Adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- **Team Player**:

- Perform labour tasks as needed.
- Site setup and cleanup.
- Adapt to changing priorities.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Valid **Class 5** driver’s license & **reliable transportation** required.
- Must be able to lift **75 lbs**.
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
- Willing & able to work in all weather conditions.
