**Position Details**

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson Carpenters for work at Shell Scotford in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
- Duration:16-20 weeks
- Wage: $42.88 base rate
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

**What You Will Be Working On**
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements for modular trailer complex renovations
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
- Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
- 50% rough carpentry and 50% finish carpentry
- Ability to install and finish drywall, painting, interior systems, T-bar ceilings and finish carpentry are all assets for this position

**What We Are Looking For**
- Class 5 Drivers License (not GDL)
- To be considered for this position you must be a registered Journeyperson in the trade of Carpentry
- Good Physical Condition and able to twist and bend, and perform repetitive type movements
- Able to push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Able to work at heights
- Experience working on industrial sites would be considered an asset
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work on an industrial petrochemical processing plant.
