We are currently seeking Journeyperson Carpenters for a full-time permanent position to join our team.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Demonstrate the proper safety procedures as set out in the OH&S and company safety manuals
- Layout, install, or remove temporary structures and fixtures, including scaffolding, ladders and railings, formwork, and hoardings
- Cutting and fastening materials as required, doing the layout, selecting materials, performing takeoffs, planning sequences and methods of work and materials to avoid costly mistakes
- Working with various tools and equipment, lifting, pulling, or pushing, carrying and manipulating objects up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisors, including mentoring apprentices and laborers.
- Must be able to work in a multi-trade environment
- Must have a commitment to safety and be able to adhere to safety policies and procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Licensed Alberta Journey person, Red Seal Certificate is an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial construction
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and Vehicle
- Current and applicable safety training certificates is an asset
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Able to organize assigned tasks for completion independently or with a crew
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Must display a positive attitude and emotional intelligence
- Leadership skills to lead other employees
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities
- May be required to complete a criminal record check to work on some projects
