**TREATMENT SERVICES MANAGER**

**SUMMARY**:
Ka-Na-Chi-Hih's Treatment Services Manager is responsible for the organization's overall staffing and programming, including scheduling, coordinating the treatment program, monitoring program quality control, and supervising staff. This role requires a deep understanding of addiction treatment modalities, clinical expertise, and strong leadership skills to guide a multidisciplinary team towards achieving positive outcomes for clients. The position falls under the functional direction of the Director of Treatment Services. The Treatment Services Manager will lead a team who provides safe, recovery-oriented, client
- & family-centered services in a manner that meets the needs of clients.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Overall coordination of the Thunder Bay Ka-Na-Chi-Hih Treatment Centre services, including managing staff and daily programming operations, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and accreditation standards;
- Upholding accreditation standards and ensure that the program and practice standards are consistent with professional guidelines;
- Leading, collaborating, and functioning as a part of an interdisciplinary team to provide quality care;
- Supervising program staff and establishing and evaluating appropriate performance standards;
- Meeting with staff regularly to provide coaching for quality and performance improvement;
- Reviewing staff performance annually, identifying professional development goals for staff and supporting those goals;
- Delivering training to staff and creating educational materials to develop skills necessary to ensure the provision of quality programming and care;
- Collaborating with Human Resources for hiring, onboarding, disciplinary and grievance processes;
- Collaborating with Operations for maintenance, capital projects, budgeting, travel, training(?) and other services to support the day-to-day operations of the centre.
- Providing timely reports, information and updates to the Director of Treatment Services and CEO as required;
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure program integrity, safety, and adherence to ethical guidelines.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of treatment services
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and varied hours when required;
- Participating in an on-call rotation to support staff after hours;
- To perform other related duties as required**.**
**ACCOUNTABILITY**:
The Treatment Services Manager is under the day-to-day Supervision of the Director of Treatment Services with further accountability to the overall performance to the Chief Executive Officer.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Education_
A degree/diploma or certification from a recognized university or college in addictions, social work, or related field or equivalent training
- Experience_
- Minimum three years’ experience in a managerial position
- Minimum five years’ experience in working in the field of addictions and mental health
- Experience working with Indigenous peoples, communities
- Skills_
- Ability to interact with others in a positive manner and display strong emotional intelligence
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of mental health, addictions, and trauma
- Ability to provide a criminal records check and Vulnerable Sectors Screen
- First Aid and CPR
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Fluency in a NAN dialect (Cree, Ojibway or Oji-Cree) preferred
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

**Education**:
