Pickering, Canada Investigative Solutions Network Inc. Full time

The Accounting Supervisor is a key member of the finance and accounting team working directly with the CFO to support strategic initiatives to aid in the future growth of the company. This is a multifaceted role where you will be involved in all aspects of the business, and you can directly share your experience and knowledge to make a difference.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Lead the period-end and fiscal year-end close processes, while continuing to improve overall quality control and drive process improvements
- Be a key resource throughout the company offering advice and sharing financial knowledge and guidance
- Assist the CFO with creating and maintaining internal controls, establishing policies/procedures to ensure best practices.
- Active participation in the periodic forecasting and annual operating budget
- Supporting finance leadership in implementing a continuous improvement program, special projects and system integrations
- Establish sound accounting/business practices,ensuring other business systems/units are properly aligned with the financial records
- Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data
- Supervise the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Oversee the cash position and cash flow
- Participate in M&A activities
- Lead, mentor and motivate finance department employees

**Education**
- CPA designation or Near Bachelor’s
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Accounting: 5-7 progressive years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
