SinaLite is a family owned business which has been operating since 1999. What started as a small 1,200 square-foot print shop which operated a single small AB-Dick printer has blossomed into a company of 150+ employees, containing several million dollars worth of printing equipment, and achieving a yearly sales revenue of 40+ million with over 20,000+ customers across North America.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
General and Administrative
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.
- Communicate effectively with the Manager of Operations, CSR Team, and Production Teams, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales objectives and customer objectives are met.
- Coordinate with applicable departments to produce and prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
- Comply with all OHSA requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.

Production Operations
- Prepares production schedules for departments and the organization through utilizing ERP software and dashboards.
- Draws up a master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Arranges orders into a sequential work schedule.
- Examines and analyzes production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
- Analyze data using softwares (e.g Microsoft Excel) through various means, not limited to: Pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established production sequences and lead times.
- Monitor the execution of the production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion, escalating complex issues to the Manager for resolution.
- Investigate production problems, analyze root causes, and provide solutions.
- Achieves both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates by utilizing plant production lead times and historical performance data to create schedules.
- Drive stability in an ERP system with Demand and Inventory Planning.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
- Expedites operations that delay schedules, and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Prepares production reports.
- May prepare lists and purchase orders to obtain required materials, tools, and equipment.
- Occasional work and take calls after hours and/or on weekends.
- Seek cost/waste reductions, identify and improve inefficient processes, and suggest continuous improvement projects for the department.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years working experience in a relevant position.
- Post secondary diploma/degree in Production Planning, Business Management, Project Management, and/or other relevant experience is a requirement.
- Certified, or working towards a certification, in Product and Inventory Management (CPIM, APICS/CAPICS) and experience in the printing industry is considered an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of digital print, Offset, Print & Mail and related processes.
- Working knowledge of all facets of print production: press, bindery, and graphics is an asset.
- Proven experience with coordinating multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in PC based software. Intermediate to expert knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel - including but not limited to: pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills e.g. working well with others, communication, positive attitude.
- Excellent organization skills.
