What you will be doing:
As the Digital Content Copywriter, you will write compelling and engaging copy for recruitment advertising campaigns (digital & social), landing pages, careers websites, and digital media profiles (e.g. LinkedIn) for a wide range of clients. You excel in writing short ad copy and have a strong understanding of SEO, naturally integrating keywords into copy. In the role, you will:

- Develop and write digital content, working collaboratively with digital, account and creative team members
- Develop creative concepts and compelling copy for digital and social media ads, such as Facebook, Google AdWords, LinkedIn, video and display banner ads
- Prepare content outline and write copy for careers websites, incorporating and staying on top of current best practices
- Conduct SEO research for high-performing keywords to naturally integrate into website and landing page copy
- Create content for digital employer/company profiles (Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.)

What you will need for this position:

- Exceptional copywriting skills with proven experience writing short, compelling ad copy and headlines
- Strong knowledge of social media ad specifications and best practices
- Proven experience in writing enticing copy for campaign landing pages, websites and digital profiles
- Expert in writing copy that aligns with client’s unique tone of voice
- A conceptual, creative thinker with big ideas
- Proficient in copy editing
- A deep understanding of Canadian writing and editing styles
- A team player with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with tight timelines
- Exceptional organization skills and extreme attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)

- Experience in developing digital content for recruitment advertising/employment marketing
- Experience developing social media content calendars and writing post copy
- Experience writing broadcast scripts (audio and video)
- Bilingual English/French
