Vous travaillerez avec des chefs de projet et des estimateurs seniors pour calculer les quantités attendues pour des projets potentiels et pour créer des dossiers d'offres qui seront présentés à des clients potentiels.

En tant que membre de notre équipe, vous devrez également être en mesure d'analyser les plans et les spécifications de chaque projet potentiel.

Nous détaillons ci-dessous les tâches qui vous seront demandées:

- Visualisation de tous les travaux à effectuer.
- Réalisation d'un devis complet de la main-d'œuvre, de l'équipement et des matériaux pour les travaux de plus grande envergure.
- Évaluation du temps nécessaire pour achever les travaux tout en respectant la date limite de soumission des offres.
- L'estimateur doit vérifier les plans et les spécifications, en s'assurant que tous les documents requis pour le projet potentiel ont été obtenus.
- Mesurer toutes les quantités de matériaux nécessaires à la construction du projet soumissionné en suivant les différentes sections du cahier des charges.
- Extraire les quantités à l'aide des outils de l'entreprise et fournir des listes de quantités détaillées.
- Diriger le calcul des prix des dépenses générales et des exigences générales spécifiques au projet pour les projets de moyenne à grande envergure (à prix forfaitaire et gestion de la construction).
- Assister aux visites de chantier et s'assurer de la possession de l'équipement de protection individuelle requis pour les visites de chantier.
- Analyser les modifications apportées aux addenda pendant la période d'appel d'offres.
- Contacter les sous-traitants pour s'enquérir des prix et du travail qu'ils effectuent.
- Envoyer des invitations aux sous-traitants
- Organiser les prix reçus dans le dossier du projet
- S'assurer que le contenu de tous les montants reçus des fournisseurs et des sous-traitants est exact et vérifier leur conformité avec les exigences du document d'appel d'offres lors de la compilation et de la clôture des offres afin de déterminer l'offre conforme la plus basse.

Ce que VOUS apporterez
- Détenir un diplôme technique en estimation ou un baccalauréat en génie civil
- Posséder une expérience pertinente de 3 ans en estimation de projets commerciaux et institutionnels pour un entrepreneur général en construction
- Posséder de solides compétences en lecture de plans et devis ;
- Faire preuve de souplesse en ce qui concerne l'horaire (pendant les fermetures de soumissions) ;
- Être bien organisé et produire un travail clair et facile à comprendre ;
- Connaissance de Microsoft Office, Bluebeam et Autocad.
- Avoir l'intention de rester à long terme et d'évoluer au sein de notre équipe d'estimation ;
- Être capable de travailler et de gérer la pression, en particulier pendant la période de clôture des offres sur lesquelles vous travaillerez ;
- Avoir le sens du travail en équipe ;

Tasks of the job

You will be working with senior project managers and estimators to calculate expected quantities for potential projects and creating bid packages that will be presented to potential clients.

As a member of our team you will also need to be able to analyze plans and specifications for each potential project.

Below we detail more of the tasks that will be asked of you:

- Visualization of the scope of work to be performed.
- Completes full quantity take-off of all labor, equipment, and materials for larger scopes.
- Evaluation of the time required to complete the work while respecting the bid submission deadline.
- The estimator must check the plans and specifications, ensuring that all required documents for the potential project are obtained.
- Perform the measurement of all quantities of materials required for the construction of the bid-project by following the different sections of the specifications.
- Extract quantities using the company's tools and provide detailed quantity lists.
- Leads pricing the general expense and project-specific general requirements for medium to large projects (lump sum and construction management).
