Dispatcher

As a truck fleet dispatcher you will be responsibly for assigning and dispatching loads and routes. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, and be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, Working closely with our dispatch supervisor and General Manager

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily dispatching of drivers and units
- Monitor and immediately respond to route, fleet and driver issues making sure service delivery requirements are met; and advising on company safety policies and procedures.
- Process and transmit information and instruction to co-ordinate the activities of drivers, and fleet units using a variety of computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment
- Monitor phones and assist with providing information to customers and employees
- Work independently to expediently resolve customer and employee issues
- Any other duties as directed as assigned by the General Manager or Dispatch Supervisor
- **Desired Qualifications & Experiences**:

- 1-2 years in logistics and/or transportation dispatch (required)
- 1-2 years’ experience in customer service role, preferred
- Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Maintain a clear criminal record, a minimum of a Class 5 driver’s license, and a clean driver’s abstract
- Must have ability to problem solve in a hectic work environment and display a high level of decisiveness while displaying significant use of memory

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
