York Simcoe Accounting is looking for a full time bookkeeper to join our team of professionals.
For more than 35 years, we’ve offered financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, business consulting and personal and corporate tax preparation.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Full cycle bookkeeping for local small businesses from a diverse range of industries
- Preparation of Payroll remittances and HST returns
- Help with administrative duties in the office
- Help with preparation of yearend files for clients
**Experience and Training**:
- Experience with bookkeeping is preferred
- Education in accounting/bookkeeping an asset
- Experience with Quickbooks or Sage an asset
- Tax preparation experience an asset
**Skills Needed**:
- Must have superior attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills required
- Must be able to work independently
- Good written and oral communication skills required
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Barrie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
