Job Description

Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Coordinator works in collaboration with other members of the department to assist them in their credit and collection duties.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Prepare and send receipts;- Issue and send correspondence to clients- Complete the opening of accounts in the system;- Save all documents in the computer system;- Modify credit limits in client accounts;- Process credit card payments;- Send title search requests;- Temporarily suspend credit privileges if necessary;-
- Develop and maintain internal and external teamwork ;- Any other duties as assigned by the Credit Manager.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, handling high volume business-to-business collections in a fast-paced environment;- A degree in finance, accounting and administration or other relevant education is desirable ;- Experience reading and analyzing Equifax, Dun and Bradstreet reports for risk assessment and credit granting ;- Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook (MS Office) ;- Excellent French communication skills, both verbal and written;- Professional and courteous telephone manner;- Self-motivated and results-oriented;- Must be able to work independently;- Ability to resolve conflicts and make timely decisions- Credit experience in the construction industry is an asset;- Must have exemplary multi-tasking and time management skills.
