**Your Responsibilities**:
This is a 24 months term role.

Reporting to the Mine Plan Engineer you will be responsible for analyzing Mining information and making decisions based on that analysis. Primary analysis includes gamma-ray neutron log interpretation. This includes uploading, sizing, and interpreting cavern logs on SAP. Based on the log interpretation, the Mining Analyst will enter notes on SAP to detail what they’ve analyzed and will decide when a Solution Mining Engineer should be consulted for advanced interpretation or critical actions. In addition, this position includes full ownership of the IRIS, Wellman, and Weatherford systems on behalf of the Mining department.

The IRIS system is the technical reporting system used by the Ministry of Energy and Resources. Timely and accurate management of KSPC data within this system is mandatory to remain compliant with legislative requirements. This includes taking the initiative to enter IRIS information within the government set timelines and submitting information and completion reports to the Ministry of Energy and Resources as new caverns are drilled or abandoned. IRIS ownership respective to this position relates to Operations, Geology and Drilling.

This position is also responsible for entering initial drilling information, logs, cement bond longs, etc. on SAP by accessing information on Wellman and Weatherford. Additional tasks include ownership of key Mining databases, as well as the creation, standardization, structuring, and maintenance of these databases. These databases contain the full history of caverns, including information related to geology, drilling, logging, workovers and operations. In addition to databases, there are several documents that the Mining Analyst owns and is responsible for. It is also a responsibility of this role to independently create new reports and KPIs, often related to budgeting. Testing software updates on programs such as SAP Cavern Cockpit. When issues are detected, the Mining Analyst must problem solve and work with IT to determine and implement a solution.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Log Interpretation: Take initiative to upload, adjust, and interpret gamma-ray neutron logs for the Mining department as logs come in-Analyze cavern stability and enter cavern notes on SAP-Decide when to consult with Solution Mining Engineer, based on cavern roof movement or anomalies
- Mining Reports: Create, own, update, improve, and maintain reports for the Mining department-Reports (some existing, some new) include but are not limited to: Weekly Reports, KPIs, Pink and Purple sheet, Workover Tracking, SM Depreciation Tracking, Sonar Historical Data, etc.
- Data Management: Responsible to ensure all logging, workover, and operational data is accurately entered into the cavern cockpit, with information coming from Wellman, Weatherford, rig tickets, logging files, etc.Update workover/logging schedule and cost tracking spreadsheets-Responsible to maintain folder structure and organization for Mining files, logs, and reports-Take initiative to develop, test, and implement improvements to data management structures to streamline Mining workflows
- IRIS Ownership: Responsible for reporting to the Ministry of Energy and Resources-Create completion reports for newly perforated wells and submit data within 7 days to the Ministry-Submit OCHL log data to the Ministry within 30 days of each newly perforated well-Data submissions for Operations, Drilling, and Geology through the IRIS database
- Streamlining Mining Workflows: Come up with ideas to streamline Mining workflows-Automate tasks to alleviate time constraints on yourself and the Solution Mining Engineers-Take initiative to improve existing processes related primarily to SAP, workovers, and reporting
- Database and Software Testing: Test SAP cavern cockpit as new updates are released to ensure integrity of system is maintained-Problem solve with IT to correct any issues that are found during testing-Provide feedback to IT to improve future updates
