The role of the Utility Technician is to maintain HKE standards and rework area. The role varies from plant to plant, dependent upon the size of the facility and equipment. A Utility Technician may work as part of department or work independently.

What you will do:

- Maintain the rework area; including but not limited to pumping R6 and sludging (removing waste). Loading empty drums and totes & skids into trailers to be delivered to recycling facility.
- Assist with the rework of R6, returns & wastewater.
- Assist with labeling duties.
- Perform housekeeping duties around the facility as needed.
- Actively participate in SMART and other safety programs.
- Follow all EHS regulations and guidelines.
- Operate equipment such as industrial lifts, floor scrubber, lawn maintenance
- Assist with filling or loading mixers
- Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have High School diploma or GED
- Must be willing to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

- At least one (1) year of experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment
