Seasonal Facilities Labourer

- The Town of Vegreville is looking for 2 seasonal part time labourers to join our Facilities team. The Seasonal Facilities Labourer will perform general maintenance and other operational duties as required for the safe operation of the Wally Fedun Arena. This position assists with ice maintenance, facility cleaning, and other maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, painting, and minor repairs to various components of the building. This position also provides customer service to facility users and the public by handling general inquiries.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the Wally Fedun Arena.
- Facility maintenance including a variety of tasks such as cleaning dressing rooms, stands, lobby, and bathrooms replenishment as needed.
- Assist with arena equipment maintenance and repairs.
- The handling and moving of equipment such as hockey nets.
- Ensure assigned duties are completed within timelines outlined.
- Other duties as assigned.

**KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Capable of working with minimum supervision and self-motivated.
- Physically capable of performing work as assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively and offer excellent customer service to visitors and staff.
- Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Part Time Seasonal: September-April
- Shifts: Weekends, Evenings, Days
