Gibbons, Canada Sturgeon Public Schools Full time

Located in Gibbons, Gibbons School welcomes students from Grades 5-9. Gibbons School has a strong academic program in addition to an award-winning music program and a range of dynamic options for complementary courses. The school is inclusive, where student programming is based on a student's strengths and abilities.

**FTE**: 1.0 FTE; 7 hrs/day; 5 days/week

The hourly rate is $18.82 - $23.57 as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

**Duties**:
Greeting visitors/parents/students and manage sign-in

Booking busses and follow-up with teachers

Monitor Rycor online permissions and PowerSchool support

Create newsletter using Microsoft Sway and ensure Google Calendar is updated

Keep school website updated and book parent/teacher interviews

Daily attendance and morning calls; attendance verification calls and phone lists

Update Hour Zero and keep emergency folders current and complete

Update substitute folders to be current based on class lists and emergency information

Office supply ordering, Konica service calls and toner ordering

Prepare daily announcements, provide birthday list monthly prior to announcements

Update class lists, medical information sheets

Manage awards spreadsheet, ordering, preparation of programs, certificate, and plaques

**Educational/Professional Requirements**:
High School Diploma, supplemented with an Office Clerk Certificate (or similar) plus 1 year experience working in an office environment

Administrative Assistant Certificate would be an asset

Experience with PowerSchool, MS Office, Google Suite, Adobe, Website Management and troubleshooting media communication/TV systems and Social media management experience is an asset

Experience with School Messenger, Rycor, Rally, Microsoft Applications including Sway, Instagram, Facebook and Canva is beneficial
