Assistant Manager, IT Internal Audit

Description of Responsibilities
Develop and perform operational and/or compliance audits, including cybersecurity audits;
Prepare and/or assist with documenting and reviewing audit and internal control findings and recommendations;
Monitor, validate and report on the implementation status of management action plans
Provide advisory services and investigations;
Provide effective communication and education of the internal control policies and practices;
Provide advice and support related to implementing IT and operational improvements;
Perform data analytics, prepare reports and complete other ad hoc projects; and
Liaise with external auditors as required.

**Requirements**:
University degree and professional IT designation required (CISA, CISSP, CISM)
Minimum 3 years of IT Audit and SOX/Bill 198 experience
Technical knowledge of IT best practices and Frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, COSO, ISO, NIST, Cybersecurity)
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to identify risks and recommend cost-effective IT and operational controls
Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Knowledge and Experience with Workday, Cognos, Diligent, AuditBoard would be an asset
Expertise in using data analytics and GRC software (Diligent, Galvanize, ACL) would be an asset
Other relevant accounting certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) would be an asset
Authorized to work and travel as required in Canada and US (~25-30% travel)
