**Beswick Tree Service **has been servicing residential & commercial as well as municipality's in the Hamilton and surrounding areas for over 60 years. We are dedicated to our community with our primary focus being residential tree care and utility line clearance.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Your Job Duties**:

- Perform all duties in accordance with Arborist Safe Work Practices
- Perform required tree work by climbing, aerial lift, or by ground level.
- Remove brush, diseased trees and branches
- Proper pruning of trees and shrubs
- Knowledge in production tree removal, tree pruning and rigging
- Assist in utility line clearance operations

**Your Qualifications and Skill **Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience of in all types of arboricultural work including; tree climbing, bucket operations, pruning, removal, cabling, bracing, and stumping
- Experience is an asset
- College training is an asset
- Experienced and knowledgeable of approved safety procedures when working at heights and near energized conductors
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Working at Heights
- Valid G Driver’s License and safe driving record
- DZ License is an asset

**Your Work Conditions**:

- Outdoor field environment
- Remote locations as well as urban city environment
- Daily travel from site to site
- Walking/hiking on various surfaces including flat, dry, wet, slippery, uneven, rough, steep terrain, hills and slopes
- Exposure to noise, dust, grease and all types of weather and temperature conditions

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (required)
License or certification:

- G License (required)
- DZ License (Asset)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Extended health care

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
