CNC Machinist

**TYCROP** is looking for a **Level 3 CNC Machinist **to join our team in the Fraser Valley.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Set up and run multi-axis CNC gantry mill for machining chassis based on blueprints and specs; set up and adjust tooling, fixtures and jigs
- Program and use probes for parts alignment, in-process inspection, and verify dimensions
- Adjust CNC programs (G-code/M-code) as needed to optimize performance and accuracy
- Perform in-person inspection using probes and measuring tools
- Adjust speeds, feed and tool paths to ensure proper machining conditions and part quality
- Perform routine maintenance
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years experience operating CNC machines, multi-axis gantry mills and Renishaw probing systems
- Level 3 CNC Operator experience
- Journeyman/Red Seal Machinist Certification or equivalent

**Skills**:

- Proficient in writing/editing G-code, M-code directly at the machine using Siemens and/or Fanuc systems
- Ability to read blueprints and understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Knowledge in heavy equipment manufacturing
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, and measuring tools
- Familiar with large-scale part machining and working with large components
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.70-$35.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
