**CNC Machinist Job Description**

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate CNC machines, including Fanuc and Mazatrol systems, to produce high-quality parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine specifications.
- Set up machines for production runs, including selecting tools and fixtures.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality inspections using basic math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, particularly with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, including lathe operations.
- Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs and specifications.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.70-$35.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
