Sunrise Farms is expanding in Alberta and we are looking for a **Payroll/Administration Clerk** for a brand new plant that will start its operations by the end of January 2023. This is a great opportunity for you to be part of this important moment of our history in Alberta and support our leadership, playing a key role for our continue growth.

**Position Summary**:_The Plant Payroll/ Administration Clerk provides administrative support to the business with responsibilities including plant payroll using Dayforce, invoicing, and assisting accounts payable._

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Payroll**:

- Weekly review of payroll, identifying missed punches, lates, early exits, shift changes
- Reconcile weekly vacation board to blue forms coded in Dayforce and HR calendar
- Provide new benefit packages to newly hired hourly employees
- Generate Retro forms and seek approval from Supervisor/Plant Manager
- Complete wage change forms/position changes and seek appropriate approval
- Review and submit Supervisor premiums to Plant Manager for approval
- Respond to employee payroll enquiries
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
- Other payroll duties as required

**Plant Administration**:

- Purchase office supplies
- Assist with customer invoicing and transfers
- Bank deposits
- Supplier invoicing for AP - system PO’s
- Other Office duties as required

**Skills/Qualifications**
- 1-2 years’ previous experience in admin role
- Food Manufacturing Environment experience an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Strong computer skills - MS Office suite
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Adaptability and Initiative
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to multi-task and possess strong organization skills
