Warehouse Manager

**Start Date**:Mid March 2023

**Compensation**: $16 - $19 per hour depending on qualifications.

**About the Position**:
The Warehouse Manager is a fulltime seasonal position, with the intent of continuing from one season to the next with winters off. Most weeks are 40-55 hours with the day starting at 7AM and going until the days work is completed. This position works as part of the Construction Division, and requires a strong work Ethic as well as the ability to work on your own.

A typical day may looks like but not necessarily in this order:

- Arrive a bit early and chat with peers.
- Workday starts at 7:00 AM and you travel 3 minutes to the warehouse.
- Assist the service and construction crews to gather and load the items that they need for the day.
- Tag sold products in Warehouse or yard.
- Load cube van with products to deliver to our New Minas location.and make delivery. (2-3 times a week)
- Pick product for the crews next day of work.
- Unload truck delivering products. Verify proper quantity received and check for damage.
- General warehouse and yard cleanup.
- Day would typically end around 4:00pm but extra time may be required occasionally.

A typical day can also change at the drop of a hat, and all of a sudden you may be asked to:

- Return to office location to unload a delivery that arrived there.
- Make delivery of products to a customer’s home.
- Deliver a product to a job site a crew is working at.
- Drive to the New Minas location to assist with product movements there.
- Load items and take them to Valley Waste.
- Go to the warehouse to count a specific sku and confirm quantity.
- Drive or pick-up a co-worker from a job site.
- Help load or unload a hot tub.

**Requirements**:
At times this can be a physically demanding position, and is a great fit for someone happy to get their exercise in while at work. The ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds is required, with the ability to move items weighing 100 pounds as well. Moving heavier items on a pallet jack or with a dolly are also required.

Deliveries are made with a cube van and some products are unloaded and loaded using a forklift The capability and the comfort level to operate both is a requirement.

There are certain processes involved in receiving, picking ,and tagging products so strong attention to detail is a necessity
