Our storage and recycling warehouse is a very important link in our offering to CSM Live clients and events, ensuring that CSM live or client owned structures and event based products are stored, condition checked, collated to event specific instructions and despatched in a timely and accurate manor. You will be responsible assisting the team of this busy and demanding warehouse, collating, packing and logistics moves for products across all the CSM customer sectors. As a result this is a very busy and diverse department with logístical and collation requirements occurring everyday throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The role of is to assist the Warehouse management team in all daily duties, logistics, and client or account team requests, ensuring that all items of an event/campaign are suitably collated according to job bags or spreadsheets, wrapped and protected for the dispatch and movement from the facility to their end destination. You will be required to adhere to very strict Health & Safety guidelines specifically around manual handling, warehouse operations, and operations of a fork lift.

The Warehouse Operative role will be to support the team on all requirements to ensure safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of items to feed client and event operations.

Working within this extremely busy and challenging department you will be tasked with
- Working to set tasks on a daily basis.
- Take responsibility for working through orders independently
- Help out in any team tasks, such as cleaning equipment and checking stock
- Take delivery of goods and supplies, checking for damaged or missing items
- Following instruction surrounding campaign and event collation requirements.
- Store and move goods appropriately
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck (if qualified)
- Assist on inventory and condition reports to keep quality standards high
- Pick and pack orders for dispatch, load goods for dispatch

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED
- You will be an out-going, organised, capable, friendly and helpful, a confident self-starter.
- The ability to work on your own, or as part of a team.
- The ability to work well with your hands, and be able to handle large and heavy products.
- Commitment to good housekeeping, and cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and getting it right first time
- You will take pride in your work, remaining focused, calm and motivated
- Fork lift trained would be a benefit
