Landscaping Quality Control Inspector

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform quality control inspections of landscaping projects to ensure adherence to design plans, and project specifications.
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess the quality of landscape installations, including plantings, hardscapes, and other landscape elements.
- Identify and document deficiencies or deviations from project requirements and communicate them to the project team for corrective action.
- Monitor and document the progress of landscaping projects at various stages, such as pre-installation, installation, and post-installation phases.
- Document inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of inspections and corrective actions taken.
- Assist in maintaining project documentation, including reports, contracts, and permits.
- Collaborate with project managers, landscape designers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Perform data entry and maintain project databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Conduct research and gather information to support project decision-making and planning
- Assist in project-related correspondence, such as meeting agendas, minutes, and progress updates.
- Assist in general administrative duties including health and safety documentation.
- Collaborate with the project team to implement quality control processes and procedures.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for project-related documents and records.
- Support the team in any other tasks or projects as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Horticultural knowledge and understanding of plantings, including identification, care, and quality control.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to landscaping installations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape design plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment relevant to landscaping quality control.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address quality-related issues promptly.
- Proficiency in using office software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Physical ability to perform on-site inspections and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivering quality results.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.
