SLCS is currently looking to fill an exciting new position**:Team Lead - Youth Programs** Reporting to the Program Manager, Restorative Justice Programs, you will provide front line leadership and direction to direct service employees from the youth community and youth diversion programs (ACP, IRS/IRS-FASD, MH Diversion, Aftercare, EJM/EJS & Youth Justice Committee), focused on the day-to-day delivery of case management, problem-solving, crisis intervention, and program planning/implementation. The Team Lead will also offer various administrative supports to the team and Program Manager which may include editing/writing reports, tracking and inputting stats, distribution and tracking of petty cash, and involvement in quality improvement and evaluation projects. In addition to the leadership elements of the position, you will share responsibility to ensure the safety and security of the clients, staff and the community.

You will work closely with all team members of the youth programs to ensure productivity, client care and training to new employees. You will provide individual and team coaching, be involved in team development activities, and model a positive workplace culture. In addition to assisting with the coordination of daily client supports, you will help to manage the flow of communication across teams and programs. The Team Lead position will also provide shared responsibility to ensure adequate staffing coverage for immediate needs (i.e. sick calls), and work collaboratively and effectively with the Program Manager to ensure the provision of quality services and program delivery.

You will be able to work with staff and clients from youth populations and contribute to program development. You will provide education, support, and supervision to other staff or students as applicable. This position is centrally located at 405 Dundas Street, London, however, you may be required to travel between community locations in London that host SLCS programs (i.e. court house, London Probation, community partner locations, etc.). This position would be working between the hours of 9am - 8pm Monday - Friday and the occasional saturday from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

**Required Qualifications**:

- University degree or 2 - 3-year College diploma from an accredited institution
- 1 - 3 yrs. relevant work experience working with youth populations (justice, child welfare, community-based)
- Standard First Aid/CPR/AED - Level C
- Valid G Class Driver’s License
