Trans Capital Air (dba Vigilance Systems) is looking for **Diamond DA-42 Pilots **to join our enterprise in carrying out precision Aerial Work / Remote Sensing tasks including on Aerial Photography, Survey and Mapping, Inspection and Surveillance, and Wildlife and Forest Fire Management missions in different parts of Canada and beyond.

We are a Transport Canada Approved Air Operator (CAR 702 Aerial Works) and Maintenance Organization headquartered at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

We maintain and operate a modern fleet of four (4) state-of-the-art, special mission equipped, Diamond DA42M-NG aircraft.

We are a proven Air Operator with over 40,000 hours of flying experience (including as a CAR 705 Charter Airline) and a zero-injury zero-fatality flight safety record since operations began in the mid 1990's. We continue to evolve and build upon our special aviation pedigree, animated by the ethos of teamwork and performance, rising to the challenge of completing complex tasks safely and working on interesting programs in the most challenging operating environments in our diverse country (Canada) and on various other continents around the globe.

'Can-Do-Safely': a Trans Capital Air Pilot's number one priority is to plan and conduct each flight mission safely and responsibly, with due consideration for task completion, on-time performance, peer and customer-focused service and professionalism.

**Job Qualification & Experience Requirements**
- Valid and Current Canadian Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Current Group 1 (Multi-engine) and Instrument Flight Rating Group 1 (IFR);
- Valid and Current Transport Canada Category 1 Aviation Medical Certificate;
- Valid and Current ISED / Industry Canada - Restricted Radio Operator Certificate with Aeronautical Qualification (ROC-A);
- The ability to hold a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and clear related background checks;
- Valid Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status
- VFR, IFR and Night Flying Experience
- Minimum Total Flight Experience in an Aircraft: 600 Hours
- Diamond DA-42 Type Experience;
- Garmin G1000 or other "Glass Cockpit" experience;
- Aerial Survey / Remote Sensing / Military / Law Enforcement / Special Mission Experience;
- Mountain Flying Experience;
- Instructor Experience;
- Multilingual Proficiency (English and French, and other).

A motivated self-starter with the ability to work with mínimal supervision.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
