- Creative, clear strategic thinker & storyteller with strong research, writing and editing skills and the ability to translate core ideas into a wide range of relevant, compelling communications, including speeches, visual presentations, digital assets, etc.
- Expert on, or intellectual curiosity for, Kyndryl’s enterprise technology industry expertise and its evolving position in the business world and society.
- Adept at collaborating and working well with people across the organization.
- Able to build cross-disciplinary networks of SMEs to contribute detailed content and expertise as needed for effective communications.
- Strong executive presence and business acumen with the ability to ‘take a seat at the table’ with senior business leaders to provide advice and counsel and articulate an informed point-of-view.
- Track record of successfully delivering quality content consistently, ethically, professionally and on time (in the face of demanding deadlines), while always demonstrating discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
- Knowledgeable about broader internal and external communications trends and how different mediums are evolving.
- Solid and proven relationship with major Canadian media and journalists

**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Lead budget for Communications activities in Canada and partner with colleagues across the function.
- Manage the development and design of communications engagement strategy to help ensure that Kyndryl Canada and its leaders are recognized as thought leaders, both internally and externally.
- Ensure the development, creation and deployment of strategic content that empowers leaders to be seen, heard and understood, deepens stakeholders’ understanding of and belief in Kyndryl driving a consistent narrative with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the development, creation and shaping of briefing documents, talking points and related materials for Kyndryl Canada leaders. Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related communications materials. Ensure content-fit-for-leaders and content-fit for-audience, including reviews and sign-offs from SMEs and executive sponsors.
- Assess potential speaking opportunities and pitch new speaking opportunities. Shape and execute the executive’s speaking role, and work with event organization on all content and amplification plans as well as logistics details. Provide onsite or real-time support as needed.
- Create and maintain executive engagements calendar in partnership with executives and broader Corporate Affairs team in Canada and globally.
- Analyze audience to understand strategic positioning, key messages and appropriate mediums that will resonate. Utilize data to understand behaviours and sentiment and create programs that engage audiences with relevant information through a content and delivery ecosystem.
- Develop deep understanding of Kyndryl employee cohorts and develop relevant content to inspire and motivate them around Kyndryl's mission and purpose.
- Establish and execute programs that develop and foster Kyndryl's culture and its customer-centric purpose. Design plans, including social tactics, to inform employees and drive sense of belonging.
- Establish, maintain and take care of a solid internal and external network.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Communications or Journalism
- Possess at least 10+ years of hands-on experience in a similar / relevant position and function.
- Hands-on experience working in an international environment with various diverse backgrounds & cultures.
- Experience working with senior leadership and executive teams; ability to provide advice, counsel and articulate an informed point-of-view to senior leaders.
- Strong communications strategy, planning and project management skills and experience. Ability to manage various pressing priorities and timeline. Results-focused.
