Calgary, Canada EDUCATION STATION Full time

Job Requirements : Must speak fluent EN

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide counseling services to students with special education needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Provide guidance and support to students in areas such as social skills, behavior management, and academic achievement
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to interventions and strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of counseling sessions and student progress

Qualifications:

- Experience working with students with special education needs
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy and understanding for the unique needs of students with special education requirements
