**Banquet Bartender**

In the role of Banquet Bartender you will:

- **Be a Crowd Pleaser -** Smile, welcome, engage - connecting with people will be a key part of this role as you courteously serve our guests, monitoring and ensuring legal consumption as you go.
- **Be a Professional -** keep your bar stocked, cleaned and sanitary. Serve safely. Handle cash/credit appropriately. Follow established policies and procedures. Involve management as needed.
- **Be a Safety & Security Agent -** follow your hotel's established safety and security policies & procedures. Anticipate problems and call management as needed. A current ServSafe certificate/alcohol certification is required.

The main duties of the Banquet Houseperson position is to set, maintain and refresh hotel banquet meeting rooms according to sales contract and company standards. They also ensure cleanliness of the floor and assist supervisor during large functions.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Convention/Banquet experience preferred.
- Server training course helpful.

**DUTIES & FUNCTIONS**:

- Clean and set banquet and meeting rooms for functions.
- Arrange tables, chairs, etc. to proper specifications.
- Transport and store tables, chairs, and other equipment.
- Keep banquet and meeting rooms clean.
- Deliver water, glasses, etc. to rooms as needed.
- Clean and break down rooms when functions are complete.
- Shampoo carpets and upholstery.
- Polish brass and metals.
- Read and comprehend BEO's.
- Attend all training sessions and department meetings.
- Maintain proper inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Maintain work ethic and be accountable.
- Perform side work duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
- Knowledge of proper recycling and food waste processing.
- Clean windows.
- Keep storeroom neat and orderly.
- Other duties as required.
