Telecon is looking for an energetic and career oriented individual to take on the role of Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager is responsible to lead and manage all construction operations of the respective region including but not limited to: sub-contractor management, client relationships and field activities according to Company commitments. This position is ultimately responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control with an emphasis on process improvement and growing the Company footprint through various business development initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures projects are planned and organized according to Company commitments and budget estimates
- Plans and organizes workloads
- Directs and leads the Supervisors towards Company's goals and objectives;
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives to be carried out each quarter;
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability;
- Create and manage budgets and forecasts;
- Ensures financial KPI’s are followed and met. Proposes alternative solutions and actions when required;
- Ensures compliance and implements Company procedure with regards to health & safety and quality; drives a health and safety culture, leads by being an inspiring role model and setting examples to the team; participates in the JOHSC meeting as a management representative;
- Resolve any day to day operational issues as they arise;
- Manages sub-contractor contracts and relationships;
- Identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational issues and problems;
- Optimizes project productivities with regard to resources and equipment;
- Manages resources to meet established annual budget and measure regional financial performance on a monthly basis;
- Manages company’s fleet and equipment for the respective region;
- Participate in estimate preparation as required;
- Lead, communicate and live the company’s vision and culture;
- Any and all other duties as assigned in order to meet Company objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10 years field supervision and project management required;
- Previous experience working on telecommunication civil projects required;
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management;
- Experienced in budgeting and forecasting;
- Professional designation (i.e. P.Eng or CET) considered a strong asset;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve operational issues;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Strong planning and organizational skills;
- Available to travel across the region.
